The Independent Hotel Show 2023

23 May 2023

The Independent Hotel Show, in partnership with James Hallam, has unveiled new features and design partners ahead of the event’s 11th edition on 16-17 October at Olympia London.

The show brings together the boutique and independent hotel sector to network, learn and meet with over 200 carefully curated hospitality suppliers, from design and decor to food and drink to the latest hotel technology and in-room solutions.

Each year the show works with a line-up of fantastic design partners to elevate the look and feel of the event, which this year includes Design Command, Cocoon & Bauer, and sofa.com, with more set to be announced in the coming months.

The Independent Hotel Show 2023 has also partnered with sustainability consultant Sarah Duncan to provide real value for hoteliers looking to learn more about how to improve their sustainability initiatives.

Sarah comments: “The ESG Hub at this year's Independent Hotel Show is designed to educate and engage – not to preach or intimidate. We hope that everyone visiting the hub will walk away with a nugget or two of knowledge or inspiration to help on their ESG journey, plus find some helpful solutions to common challenges.”

This year the show will be taking a step into the Metaverse as part of a unique new feature area. In partnership with LEVEN, this feature will demonstrate how this immersive and interactive online space can potentially transform hotels and hotel design.

Another new addition to this year’s event is the launch of the Hoteliers’ Choice Competition, which will ask the hotelier community to nominate the very best and most innovative suppliers servicing the sector.

A specially selected panel of hoteliers and event partners will shortlist 15 companies. The industry will then have the chance to vote for five winning suppliers to secure a free exhibition stand at the 2023 edition, plus an exclusive marketing package, together worth up to £5,000.

“This is a fantastic, unparalleled opportunity to not only get directly in front of key hotel buyers, but also to stand out from the crowd as a trusted supplier and a true innovator in the eyes of the independent hotel community.”
